Breanna: Mom can we make these right now (holding the rice krispies)
Me: No we will make them later
Breanna: Can I have a marshmallow?
Me: No not right now
Breanna: Can we make them right now if you let me have a marshmallow?
How does this work does any one else understand this?

Ask and ye shall receive...or at least wear down the person you're asking so next time they opt to give you what you want rather than do you bodily harm. ;)
I think it must be some higher logic that we're just too stupid to comprehend. We just get the simple logical logic.
