It is February first already! I read a blog this morning with a back yard picture and it inspired me to post a picture of my back yard in all its winter glory. For such a teeny tiny yard it is sure holding a lot of snow right now. I like to think that Febuary is the beginging of the downward slope of winter. Things will start warming up in march right? Please?

I agree. February always seems to mark the end for me of the long winter. It all improves from here on out.
(but don't forget the mandatory blizzard of the century that will happen in march. ...or april:)
israel just told me a couple days ago that he thinks it feels like the beginning of spring. a part of me died inside when i thought of the long cold months ahead.
